Demon Tower
Resin Model Kit
Demon Tower is a piece I did as an homage to kit building. Kit sculpting has offered me the ability to have complete freedom in doing my art. Therefore, I wanted to make a kit that was so full of stuff that a kit builder could spend weeks building and painting it without getting board I kept it under 11 inches tall so that it can still fit on any shelf. This is meant to look at from all angles.
While this barbarian thief has fought his way up the tower killing as many demons as he can along the way, the tower continues to narrow until he pushes open a trap door in the cieling allowing him to the final turret. There the two largest of the demons await. The battle of sword and axe continues while the might of every blow begins crumbling away the tower itself. Just as he is about to deliver the final death blow to the largest of his foes, the trap door in the floor cracks and more demons begin crawling in.
You'll easily notice the 2 green demons he is finishing off, and the blue one who is escaping. It is hard to see in the photos but there is a trap door where the demons are starting to flood in.
There is a lot of work and a lot of resin in this one.
This shot of the base in progress shows the demons busting through the trap door. Tenticles also wrap around the leg of the barbarian.
